RgCon Services was started as a small consultancy firm by Mr. R. Giridhar in the year 1995.  Mr. R.Giridhar was a Ist class graduate in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Warangal.  After graduation he joined M/s. Ferro Alloys Corporation(FACOR) as Dy. Manager and rose to the position of Manager in about 5 years.  Then he worked as General Manager  in Bhutan, Nav Bharat Ferro Alloys. (Group) & GMR Ferro Alloys Group. He was in charge of setting up new Ferro Alloy Plants of Nav Bharat group in Orissa and expansion of plant of GMR group at Tekkali, Andhra Pradesh.

RgCon started pioneering work in trouble shooting in Ferro Alloys industries in India and introduced technical innovation in the industry with a viewpoint to produce upgraded quality material with optimum high productivity.    
         
Full pledged consultation, EPC and Turn-key works for green field Ferro Alloys plants along with its pollution control system and material handling systems was started in 1998 when several green field Ferro Alloy plants came up in North Eastern states especially Meghalaya and also Durgapur belt of West Bengal.  Necessary qualified staff was added to the organization,several green field Ferro Alloys plants were successfully commissioned in the North East,West Bengal & other parts of India & Bhutan.The capacities varied from 5 MVA to 18 MVA.  With boom in Ferro Alloy market and several incentives offered by State Government of Jharkhand, West Bengal and Orissa & Andhra Pradesh, several industrialists came forward to set up either green field projects or to expand existing capacities.  M/s. RgCon Services had obtained consultancy work for large portion of these new projects. And also projects in Saudi Arabia, Zambia etc. Active negotiations are in progress for new projects in India and other Asian countries. Most of them have been successfully commissioned and are running satisfactorily.
